1. Community Rules
Community spaces (comments, forums, chat) are for discussion of strategy, markets and the Platform. You must not:
1. Post “buy/sell now” directives presented as personalised advice to another user; 2. Claim guaranteed returns, post fabricated profit or P&L screenshots, or misrepresent performance; 3. Promote external paid groups, pump-and-dump schemes, or coordinate to move a price; 4. Post content that is defamatory, misleading or unlawful under UAE law (including the Cybercrime Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 — note that truth is not a defence to defamation in the UAE, and forwarding content can constitute re-publication); 5. Share others’ personal data, or scrape or harvest member data; 6. Spam, shill undisclosed paid promotions, or advertise without our written consent; 7. Solicit other users to give you access to their brokerage accounts, credentials or funds.
2. Publishing or Sharing a Bot
If the Platform allows you to publish, share, sell or licence a Bot to other users, the following apply in addition to the Terms of Service.
2.1. Performance claims must be true and substantiated. Any return, win rate, drawdown or risk figure you publish must be accurate, must be capable of substantiation on request, and must state the period, instrument set, starting capital and whether costs are included.
2.2. Label backtests as backtests. Presenting a simulated or backtested result as a live track record is prohibited and is grounds for immediate removal and account termination. Use the standard performance label (Block E of the Platform Disclaimer).
2.3. No advice, no guarantees. Do not describe a shared Bot as investment advice, as a recommendation, as suitable for any particular person, or as low-risk, safe, guaranteed or unable to lose. Do not tell other users what capital or leverage they should deploy.
2.4. Disclose what it does. Describe the strategy, the market conditions it targets, and the conditions in which it is expected to perform poorly. Do not conceal that a strategy uses high leverage, martingale or grid averaging, or has no stop condition — these must be stated plainly.
2.5. You may be carrying on a regulated activity. Publishing a Bot for others to run on their own money may, depending on how you present it, what you charge and where you and your users are located, constitute a regulated activity in one or more jurisdictions. You are responsible for determining this and for obtaining any authorisation required. We do not provide this assessment and do not authorise you to carry on regulated activity through the Platform.
2.6. No managing other people’s accounts. You must not use the Platform to trade an account belonging to another person, or to manage third-party funds, unless you hold every licence required to do so. Soliciting credentials from other users is prohibited absolutely.
2.7. Own what you publish. You must own or be licensed to use all code, logic and data in a Bot you share. Do not publish strategy code taken from an employer, a vendor, or another platform in breach of a contract or licence.
3. No Review or Endorsement by Us
We do not audit, validate, test, endorse or approve user-created Bots, their logic, their safety or any claim made about them. Availability on the Platform is not a recommendation. If you activate a Bot created by another user, you do so entirely at your own risk, you accept the risks in the Automated Trading Risk Disclosure, and you remain responsible for the parameters you set and the positions taken in your account.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content or a shared Bot, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion and without refund, for any breach of these Guidelines. Severe breaches — market manipulation, fraudulent performance claims, unauthorised management of third-party funds, unlawful content — may be reported to competent authorities.
Removal of a shared Bot halts its availability to new users. Users who have already activated it are notified. Removal does not close positions opened by that Bot, in any account.
5. Disclaimer for User Content
Opinions in community areas belong to their authors, are not reviewed or endorsed by the Company, and are not investment advice. Reliance on any user-generated content, including any shared Bot, is strictly at your own risk.
6. Reporting
Flag content or a Bot via the report button or support@onetaptrade.com. We review reports within 72 hours, and sooner where a report alleges a Bot is causing loss or behaving unsafely.
